Bikers have restored my faith in humanity

I've had an interesting life and some good and bad experiences from it. I have seen some of the worst sides of humanity. Doing ambo shifts for example, And the senseless violence that happens on our streets.
But since I've started riding I've experienced so many genuine nice people.
The guys at the shops have always been nice (yes they are paid to though)
I've known some people for less than a month and yet they take me riding, when they hate it lol, they teach me, push me just enough and now work on my bike for me.
Random pedestrians helping to get my bike off me when I fell off and then just left without me getting a chance to say thank you.
Guys I met to go for a ride. They kept to a really slow speed for me, didn't really disappear on me. I mean that was seriously a wander through the twisties for them, not the sprint most bikes enjoy.
And the random stalker lol who turned up out of no where and saved my ass when I was sitting on the side of the road crying cause the damn thing had broken down and I was too pansy to ride it.

Have you had random acts of kindness within this community over others? Or just randoms like my pedestrian guy

I know some of you are online cunts, but that isn't necessarily what you are in reality. I'm quite impressed to be honest.

(And no, no one is getting laid)

Pfft!! All that effort was a waste of time, then. Onwards to the next needy chick (who will put out)...
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

There are good bastards and not so good bastards in all walks of life. Not just a biker thing.

+1 there are even some good Actually pitied the good bugger trudging back down SH1 south of Paekok last night to pick up a piece of lumber (6x1 possibly used but slick as shit) that had come off an insecure load, probably because I had only just managed to avoid hitting it in the wind and rain with some counter steering.

Despite the general outlook as per lego , the majority of people are good, however they are often afraid to act on it as kindness is typified as weakness now days.

A fella on classic restos last week said " Good people attract good people" and I agree with him. If you are a good bugger, you usually meet good buggers.

I wouldn't really call myself "good people". I used to be, kinda. Always putting mysel out for others, it was nice to help and I like making people happy. But when no one was there for me at times and it was a one way street I just kinda threw in the towel. That's why I've lived by these 2 things:

"Everybody Lies" and "I only trust 1 person in this world, and that's me. And even then it's a bit touch and go"

I have never been shown so much random kindness and its really refreshing and restoring of humanity.

    What goes around comes around...
Always cheak to see if people are ok regardless,as the few seconds it takes to get a "I ok" response isnt an issue.
I've even helped out gang members broken down in the Waioeke Gorge.

That one will be handy to keep in mind, you never know when your in a sticky situtation that may need some 'special' help to get out of.

I believe that nearly everyone is a good person. Every arrogant cunt has friends or partners or family that think they are awesome.
