I would bet my life arguing over who is the most intelligent is linked with low IQ
Intelligence doesn't stop you from getting addicted and IQ has no bearing on "life skills".

    One definition of intelligence:

""A very general mental capability that, among other things, involves the ability to reason, plan, solve problems, think abstractly, comprehend complex ideas, learn quickly and learn from experience. It is not merely book learning, a narrow academic skill, or test-taking smarts. Rather, it reflects a broader and deeper capability for comprehending our surroundings—"catching on," "making sense" of things, or "figuring out" what to do""

Obviously IQ plays a role with learning anything..Including "life skills".

I think it's a reasonable assumption that low life skills (pun intended ) correlate to a low IQ and vice versa.

Have you ever tried having an intellectual conversation with a goldfish?

    It's like talking to Edbear.

The internet has allowed many almost mute autistics to communicate.

Until written communication became fashionable or acceptable as in forums, as we indulge now, many thought they were also dumb, only to find out many had high intelligence

Psychopaths have very good conversational skills, salespeople aint bad either

The Joker from Batman judging by his smile. Maybe he's the father, which is kinda backed up given the actor topping himself not long after.

Yes Ed. They swim round and round in a bowl and every 360 degrees they say "I've done all the research........I've done all the research.........I've done all the research........."

When in actual fact, all they've done is swim around in circles.

As far as todays intelligence goes, we are all in our baby shoes, even the brightest amongst us here.

    In the future.....

There wil be no future .. I am sorry, but I beleive that intellegence is an evolutionary dead end ...

Sure a certain level of intelligence is useful - it got us down from the trees, walking upright and making tools ... (well most of us .. there are still Harley Diddleson riders amongst us ...)

But higher intelligence leads to insanity .. and that is not a survival skills - in fact the opposite ..

It leads people to ask "what's the point?" and then opt out .. that has no survival either ...

It has lead me to not have children . no survival value there either ...

So, high intelligence is an evolutuionary dead end .. just as too low is a dead end ... just enough for survival has value ... outside that norm and the human race is screwed ...
