better prts and valve sizes etc

    BUT

larger valves, dont actually ( in some cases , bullets being one ) help

Honda have the same problem with the GB range , crap low speed metering and corresponding mixture strenth , prone to stalling !

Yes but alloy with cast in rocker boxes and more generous finning... By all accounts they were a big improvement performance wisebut then I know feck all about them

    Snip

    info as it stands

Hi Stephen , we are taking only one bike to Bonneville this time, it is the partially streamlined modified frame , normally aspirated 500cc bike , this is a electric start model as far as cases and it has Hitchcocks billet crankshaft, we are running Hitchcocks (cams) also. We have a nitrous bottle and we are hoping to set a record in the gas class without nitrous and then in the fuel class with nitrous. We have swapped out engines and have our best effort installed as of today. We will begin jetting and dyno tuning next work night and hope to get dialed in. Our nemesis last time with this bike was jetting , we were being cautious not to burn it up and was taking baby steps. Anyone who has jetting experience would understand that going down six jets sizes all at once is reckless! We ran out of time as many remember we were on the starting line with the engine running and they closed the track due to a fatality, in any event we are going back and we will make our best effort.
