Suction cup mount and straight on top of the tank
All a matter of testing things out really. The 3M adhesive mounts they give you with the package are mean. I have had one attached to the side of my speargun that has probably seen 40 odd hours of salt water exposure and its still on there. Last time I went out a Kingi towed me nearly 1km and didn't knock the camera off. To bad the camera wasn't switched on...
Try it out on your helmet. You may or may not look like a fuckwit but its most likely going to give you the best view.
I've used double-sided black foam tape from Supercheap to stick a light on my cycle helmet, seems to work (still there anyway), s'posed to be heavy duty for cars...still that light's only worth about 10 bucks worth so no biggie if it does fall off. Cool, my power just came back onback to doing stuff...

The chest mount (gopro call it Chesty) is a good option if you have a fairly upright riding position. Handlebar/seatpost mount would also be useful.
I got a handle bar seat post mount. I put mine on the mirror. Post was a bit slim so I wrap it in tape to bulk it out and give it a nice rubbery place for the mount to tighten into
Well that was a major fail. I appear to have not pushed the button when I started my journey. So, I just looked liked a complete wally at 6:30am in the morning with a bloody camera in my head for no reason. It's so embarrassing, I think I will have to find somewhere else for it.
Becoming fearless isn't the point. That's impossible. It's learning how to control your fear, and how to be free from it.

Well I was going to suggest that perhaps scooter boy from the OP might have been wearing the same helmet he wears for doing other stuff that he really does want to film, and couldn't be arsed taking the cam off the helmet before running out the door late for work that morning.![]()
Keep on chooglin'
