Oh, that's grim. Race conditions in Moscow were appalling.
Anybody catch the 675 production race in BSB? Paint swappingly entertaining.

RIP Antonelli. Horrible horrible crash.
"...New Zealanders, for all their faults, have virtues that are precious: an unwillingness to be intimidated by the new, the formidable, or class systems; trust in situations where there would otherwise be none; compassion for the underdog; a sense of responsibility for people in difficulty; not undertaking to do something without seeing it through - "

Bloody Disrespectful to not only the rider involved, but also to his family, friends, other Supersport riders.

If you are not interested then dont click it. It is clearly labelled.
Anyway, what happened to Sykes bike?? Spat the dummy and oil and flames big time ( Almost made my wife cry)!! Do we reckon it can be classed as an 'electrical fault'??
Sympathies go to Antonelli's friends and family, never something you want to see on track.
just a flat battery , got it replaced and it fired up good
It's always an electrical fault. Think you'll find that since the fines for running out of gas came in at tracks around here there's been an increase in electrical faults.
I did notice that once he was off the track he cracked the throttle hard open which was quickly followed by flames and liquids.

Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity
Looks like Sykes thrashed it and it blew??
Commentary has it that way??
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!
'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '
Disclaimer: I don't actually know what I'm talking about and everything I say should be taken as words of wisdom from a armchair general/mechanic/engineer/racer.
