Thanks Oakie. We will look into a way of grouping the road categories. Have put in a $7500 price point in the search. Cheers

I always thought trademe was retarded for not having a separate search for dirt bikes and road bikes.
How about search for road registered (or able to be). And off road.
When I'm searching for bikes over 500cc. I want to see tourers, sports bikes and dual purpose. But Having quads and cr500s etc in the list is like having ironing boards turning up in a search for cars. That's not what I'm looking for. Or I have to do 4 separate searches (which is tedious on my phone)
Exactly.
I really noticed it while I was trying to search for a Bandit to buy. Is it a Tourer? Nah. Is it a Sports Bike? Nah. Is it a Cruiser? Nah. Yet they are the only broad 'road' categories. So it depended on where people listed it as to where I'd find it. And guess what? Sellers didn't know where to put a Bandit because I found them under each category. Yep, having a broad 'Road' category that sucked those three into one place makes things so much easier.
Grow older but never grow up
"Dual Purpose" also belongs in road in my book e.g. V-Strom, GS's, DR, KLR, etc.
I would also personally like every listing to specify if a bike is registered for road use as well. Lots of unregistered bikes clutter up the dual purpose listings, notably farm bikes. The ability to only return bikes with a road use rego (be that live or on hold) would be very handy.
Great stuff guys. We will add those features to our search.
Road vs dirt.
Registered vs un registered
Save search parameters and email when a listing is entered
May take a couple of weeks as developer is hard out on some other cool stuff. Appreciate your comments and you have highlighted some good improvements. Cheers
Road vs Dirt also works for Gear, such as Helmets,Boots etc. pisses me off trudging thru page after page with them all mixed up.....
Harley Davidson: The most efficient way to convert gasoline into noise without the side effects of horsepower.
'Fast' Harleys are only fast compared to stock Harleys.
Yep we agree. We already have that feature. If you look in gear. On the search bar you have a filter for terrain. Gives you the choice of all terrain. Road. Dirt and .Casual clothing. Cheers
