I'm still too coward at this point and haven't got enough warm gear for the ride out south, I'll be heading to SASS when I'm more experienced.. I'm also on a 125 at the moment but I'm looking at buying a 250 so I can keep up

too coward for what? can you go 100kmph? and as long as you have the basics clothing wise, don't worry about the "cold" it's no different to what you'd experience at nass.

I havent tried motorway riding yet. Juniper took me on a ride up North and that's the most out there I've gotten apart from suburban rides. The 125 tops out at 90 anyway.. so I don't think I'll be heading over the bridge and out south until I get more experience under my belt.. maybe next month or something though

Haha you'll get there kiddo! Next time well do some around the streets stuff, wandering round Takapuna and Devonport. Meander to Long Bay and over to the bridge. Some good view to be had just wandering around on bikes.
