    Bike back on the road

    or track as it may be

    shortly before the throttle stuck wide open

    was fun whilst it lasted

    stuck throttle slide/needle missed the hole.
    Easy fix.

    If it's a late model HD it will be injected and possibly have ride by wire throttle - they are getting high tech nowdays!!!

    Can't tell by looking at one as they are designed as 'retro'!

    I hope you and the bike came off OK - with any luck you hit the kill switch and pulled in the clutch ......

    Its a bitza, panhead motor, shovel frame, 5 speed evo box

    and no its not injected HS40 mikuni

    hit brakes, got around first corner realised it was not going to right it self hit kill switch and coasted to a stop

    first guy I bumbed into was former associate form club I was in 10 years ago who had a dead 920 Norton with fired electrics and oil all over back wheel

    both bikes were running and sorted later in day

    roll on festival of 1000 bikes next year

    all sorted, new braided stainless throttle cable and no problems

    Mmm might have to get stuck into my 51 panhead just need a few more bits,but hey I still have my shovel to ride.
