Don't know if this applys to the 600 motor... but the 660 clutch has 3 types of plates plus a judder ring
if they arn't in the right order the clutch packs a real wobbly.... squeals , don't engauge or disengauge correctly..

A man thinking along the same lines as myself, would love to go down that route - has now been 2 months since I have ridden the KLR and will be another 6 months or so before I will be back on a bike again, but I am thinking when I get there maybe spend the money, go lighter and have more fun. So can you please buy a Husky / Husaberg (would quite like fuel injected) maybe 300 - 450 or so, set it up for adventure riding, find out all the pitfalls and money traps and save me the expense

Will be a bit of traffic in the Lees Valley on Sunday as there is a trail ride in there so lots of trailers going in and out from the Oxford end so you'll probably want to give that a miss.
