    ZXR250 wheels on a motard?

    has anyone used them for a KTM motard before? are they any good? i.e convertible?

    It can be done, I imagine. However, you'll need a lathe to make up some spacers.
    Might want to check you can get a 520 sprocket that fits. If not, that could be problematic.
    CBR 250 wheels (MC18 & MC22) fit on pretty easily. I've got a set of MC18 wheels on mine.
    Another thing is the front disk. You'll either have to make up an adapter plate to fit the KTM disks, or there may be 320mm disks available for a ZXR. But that is pretty unlikely.

    Here's a pretty handy website. If you're willing to use CBR wheels, that is.

Wow thanks that site is awesome and i have been told by numerous people to try and get cbr wheels! im doing this to a 03 450exc so if you have a pic of urs id love to see how it looks, Im not fussed about what wheels i use im just struggling to find some that are cheap enough and easy to convert.

    If a cetain KB member would part with his mc22 wheels instead of hummin and arrghhhing.... COUGH COUGH hint hint...

    I'll get you a picture tomorrow, considering it's a little rainy and she's a bit of a handful in the wet .

    I don't have any other wheels to replace them with... What a shame it doesn't hover, huh

    yep just nabbed that front of the yellow mc19 and have a mc22 rear both with discs and axles. $400. not bad i guess..
