Just remember (if you're really hung up about the rego cost) that the ZX6R is a 636, the dr650 a 650 etc. All over the rego bracket and a big bike. I figure if you're paying more you may as well get more... so 1170 for me

Only some of the ZX6Rs are 636, the others were 599 and would have the cheaper rego.

That high to start with...... I'd go lower and work up.

I have the one time offer and ill let them think about it overnight if they say no.
5.2 is a good price. The 60ks is a few.

$7000-$9000 is such a better price range to buy a big second hand bike with.

Sure, the thou can go really fast, but otherwise, the Hornet is more fun, hell of a lot more reliable too.

    yes and no,
liked my Hornet, liked my R1, love my Buell.
Neither was unreliable in the short time i owned them, unlike my Buell's have been, well two of em have had niggles.
I Can't see why a sports bike would be more unreliable.

I'd love a thou with dirt bike bars and gearing changed, streetfighter style for the those quick blasts plus actual real handling unlike the cb900...

Heh, I just got rid of a big old oil cooled Suzuki (great bike!) so don't want to get another just yet!
Speed triple might be an option, little bit pricey though. Wish I could spend more but I'm stretching the budget as it is
Being a poor student sucks! Only one more year though..

I think it's just going to end up being a waiting game for a good deal to come along and being able to snap it up with a cash offer.

Interesting comment. In the 42,000km I've had my thou I've not had a single reliability issue with it.
