No issues, they were friends of mine, DR was closest thing to a Harley I could find in the garage (piston about the same size) and performance near dead even. (KTM would have been a right pain riding with them as when following you run the risk of a collision out of every corner)
Made a break at end of ride though as DR craved for some off roading

always wondered why the exhaust is slung so low on the Big DR, just looks a bit odd to me and cant be good for river crossings. Owners seem happy to leave them there...any reason for not raising them does anyone know?
....wherezz that track go
tell you what though, that low slung zorst was a asset for the throw over panniers and stuff, didnt have to worry about guards and racks with my luggage, never drowned in a all the streams i went across, it was based of the dakar version which would explain the low slung as most dakar bikes are.
plus the later 800 zorst's look kinda gayand i wouldnt want to confuse the 2 as i reckon this ones the bestest model

No worries about melting indicators with it way down low....KTM should have taken a leaf from their book on that front...just like BMW did copying its big honker![]()
