Hawke's Bay Ride Outs - is anyone there?

Have a good day GPS Man.

My plan is to be there but I may be 5 -10 minutes late to the start If all things are equal I will get the bike out make sure it goes watch the boat race if that is on time and then head over. If things change I will call someone and let you know.

Looks like fun, great weather ahead of the stormy stuff to come anyway...
Ross and I had great time at the Classic rally on weekend, big turn out of bikes and three adventure classics as well, Ross will know the details better than me.

Yup sure is. Don't have a clue how we got there just followed Bart. There is a maze of back roads up in nem thar Hills ;an adventure riders paradise.

Sounds like you guys had a great ride, re the Classic Rally, What an incredible collection of old 2 wheeled machinery.
Riding with bikes like a Vincent Black Shadow, 1940s Harleys and Injuns plus all the old British brands, all in mint condition and to see 3 of Honda's finest trailies being ridden together was awesome, An Elsinor, Xl250 and an XL350, all early 70s and fully restored to mint condition. One guy had ridden his old 1941 Army Indian from Wairoa, the fact that he was 15 years older than his bike was legend. Two nights of partying and some of the stories (and Jokes) those old riders had to tell was entertainment plus.

Great day pretty jaded after a long weekend then 417kms today - the day had sunshine, rain, many gravel roads i have never ridden (thanks Bart & Marty) beaches, good company and a dodgy steak pie.

Cheers for a great day guys. Just what I needed. I'm glad I could show you a few new roads. Got home on fumes (320km)

I didn't take many photos. Too busy enjoying the ride. I'll put up what I've got tomorrow.
