Just today a 'Suzuku RGV150 (1999)' popped up on TradeMe for $2200. From what I have read previously this is a rather popular bike, even if it is for bucket racing(?). -

Is anyone able to offer some advice or opinion of this possible purchase for a first bike please. I am hesistant considering it is TradeMe and I have little to no idea about motorbikes maintence/parts/what to look for. The sticky above is helpful but I'm sure experience goes further than "reading it on the internet".
I do think it looks in some rather good nick.
Thanks
Edit: Additional Info -
Bike within expected budget as I do not have gear beyond a borrowed helmet
Primary use - travel between Lower Hutt & Wellington for full time job, learning, weekend fun
