This has to be an all time low in local body politics in New Zealand!

Best scam in the world, I reckon, to be a NZ politician... No transparency, no integrity, no responsibilities, no consequences - all while hiding behind the facade of 'democracy'.

Can anyone list out what good for Auckland Len Brown has actually achieved?

I can only recall bad things, like inflated council salaries, wasted council resources or money, uncut berms, wrong street sign colours, unaffordable housing, little improvement in public transport, little improvement in traffic congestion, etc. but maybe he has actually done some good as mayor of the supercity?

He thinks that it's only private but he was the one who mingled his private life into the public domain and deliberately thumbed his nose at his electors!

Auckland City doesn't appear to have much to do with the issue, only 34% voted. It doesn't look like Brown is going to step down voluntarily, most of his council cronies support him and there's no sign of a bi election.
