Also these successful arseholes are in charge of charities, the Red Cross US was under fire a few years back for massively dodgy practice, CCF was only donating less than 20c in the dollar, Barnardos here turns over $50mil/yr but very little of that goes to the kids, the CEO alone is on a few million (think 3.6), the Appco group that does the face to face collections keeps 100% for the 1st year (thats right not a single dollar goes to the charity you thought you were sponsoring for the 1st year).
There are actually very few honourable charities as once they get big enough to become known the arseholes step in & start syphoning money away from where it needs to go & into their own pockets

Whether successful or unsuccessful, we ALL rely on others producing stuff. Just because you pay for it does not mean that you have somehow magic'd away the supply chain of people that have contributed towards that which you have produced, let alone the supply chain of people that have supported your customers. From what I've read the reason behind not using thorium was because plutonium had a faster reaction and produced a better bang for buck given the tech available. Short-sighted "experts", well, politicians and money men making decisions on scientific ability and capability is rife and needs to be eradicated.
