The boss has a 2013 Multi, been in Europe for 6 odd months and will probably have put 50k odd on it by next month. He seems to like it enough and he's seriously picky about his bikes and their suspension setup. Guess I'll find out more mid next month when he returns... I do know he wasn't exactly impressed by the amount of luggage space, especially the panniers.

Oh, a mate and I looked at Multis 2-3 years ago... when they kept harping on about shiny carbon bits and we wanted crash bars... and I was shut down when asking about increasing the tank capacity, we figured the Ducati wasn't really intended for us.

Multistrudle is one of the premium bikes for NZ.
Long travel suspension and ideal ergonomics to deal with the conditions.

20L ain't enough. Especially if you're going to ride it proper like (like a Ducati should be). It was more that they didn't even consider it, just Nup. Full stop. All the manufacturers seem to make the bikes more economical then reduce the fuel capacity. Even BMW has done it with the new GSA that's coming.

On your point about long travel suspension and ergonomics, I couldn't agree more. Tis perfect for our rougher roads.

Yes and it doesn't perform as well as the previous Ohlins suspension. The world of supplying suspension components to bike manufacturers is extremely ruthless. Sachs did a major job of undercutiing Ohlins re supply. Its not always progress although the marketing story tellers will have you believe otherwise
