It's hard to believe another inadequate white male ends up with an asian chick.

I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!
Yo Bevan: Any time someone tries to blackmail you, go to the cops. Even if they screw it up (it is the NZ police after all), it is hard to see how your reputation could be any more damaged than it is now. It is also less likely that the greasy Wewege would have been able to sell up and leave the country scot free.
PS Never take a photo you aren't prepared to have made public.
Lots of love

Keep on chooglin'
No. A man has just been sentenced in the Wellington(?) District Court for making the same threats to his ex-girlfriend.
All we can say is that Mr Wewegee is a nasty specimen, politics has nothing to do with it.
But just to consolidate the point, consider Richard Worth. He was a National MP for 10 years, well ensconced in government, one of the old boys and a Minister of the Crown. He sent some naughty texts - didn't even get some nooky - and was fired from the National government Cabinet. Gone. He had to resign as an MP which was an ignominious and shameful end to his career.
FWIW if he'd been Labour Helen Clark wouldn't have given him a pass either.
Im very adequate trust me and I wouldnt go a country mile near a kiwi bird

"Look, Madame, where we live, look how we live ... look at the life we have...The Republic has forgotten us."
It's not "what" he did so much as "how" he did it and how he mingled it into his work place and time and how vulnerable to further corruption he proved himself to be!
Brown is now proven himself to be "vulnerable and subject to corruption and as such is an openly high risk politician", he should stand down!
At the very least he should be judged again (by ballot) by the ratepayers who voted before they knew the truth about his duplicity!![]()
To be fair, the reason he got the sack was that he was over-economical with the truth with the PM, and Lyin' Len has no boss to give him the DCM that he deserves.
I guess Brown is more confident with every passing day that the muck his spinners have thrown around about Chaung has been enough to scare off the other women from coming forward.
Also - times change and what was not acceptable in one age is more tolerated in another... Openly Gay MP's in the 50's? Erm - no
This is not a left/right thing ... if it's about morality then I do not see what the problem is ... Len Brown is not in a position to pass laws affecting our morality so why the hell do his morals matter? If he was passing laws against adultery then I would have a problem with it - but he is not ... nor wil he ever be in that positiona s mayor ...
How does his affair affect his ability to be mayor to do a job - apart from the fact that he's lost a few supprters over this? To be mayor means you only need to be the highest polling candidate - which probably means that less than 50% of the voters actually voted for him ... so what's new?
So he fucked up - he's human ... I'd rather have human beings in positons like that than the scumbag blackmailers trying to oust him ... shagging a woman is natural and human ... shagging an attractive woman who is not your wife is an error .. a human error ... blackmailing other people is despicable ... I'm not blaming wedgwedgie (or whatever) for blowing the whistle at all .. I'm saying that his morals are worse than Brown's morals ... and that reflects badly on Pinocle (or whatever his master's name is and you can tell I don't live in Dorkland) ... do you really wasnt to replace an adulterer with a blackmailer ???
Was Brown in a position of power over her? .. when the affair started it does not seem that way to me ... and mayors do not employ staff - CEOs do ... that's the difference between governance and management ...
I do not beleive in this day and age that adultery, in and of itself, opens a person up to blackmail ...
"So if you meet me, have some sympathy, have some courtesy, have some taste ..."
