Remember riding a demo one of these a few years ago, was a bit of alright but I was still horsepower crazy then

so it was lost on me.

Would dig one now though

Hi folks, the time has come to sell my beautiful '99 DR350. I'm gonna put it on Tardme next week but thought I'd let you folks know in advance in case anyone here wants it first.

1999 Dirt model (kicker)
Good nick, well used but very reliable and lots of fun!

Comes with:

Stock tank and larger Ascerbis 15L tank (I think it's 15L).
Spare set of wheels so I can do a quick swap out from road tyres and gearing to dirt tyres, rimlocks and lower ratio gears.
Bunch of spare (used) tyres in varying states.
Box of stuff I've collected along the way.
Has rack on the back for mounting Top Box. Rack has very handy handles for enabling people to help you out of the mud!
Extra windscreen hand fashioned by Transalper himself

REG(on hold)/WOF, never had an issue ...

Probably some other stuff too that I've quite possibly forgotten ATM.

I'm looking at all sorts at the mo, trials bikes, enduros, kids bikes but another good trailie in the shed will give me best bang for the buck. If it has a relatively low seat height the G/F might like it & I can have my DT back.

I did heaps of miles on one of those 20 odd years ago,including two laps of the South Island in 10 days with my new bride on the back.
One of my all time favourite bikes.Perfect for NZ roads.

Something a bit fishy about your story, Did you not realise when you got back to Nelson that you'd done this before and if it was a Honeymoon most don't go anywhere for a least a week let alone ride the same 2000ks of road again

I'm sure you have a perfectly sensible answer to this mystery

sounds like the perfect wife, i could only dream of a honeymoon like that
