Picked up some cheapie stands from Torpedo 7 for easier work on the blade.

Currently repainting some panels on my little cruiser.
The tank is being taken back to metal, which is..... fun.
Planning on a rattlecan job, so going to take my time with it and hopefully make it look respectable.

Im going to mask off areas and paint it a combination of glass black and satin black.
What coat would you lay down first?

Do the whole thing satin, then put a gloss coat over the bit you want shiney.

i would do the satin first. Don't think the paint will stick to gloss very well. however i have been wrong in the past, but i keep getting louder, thus more right.

Doubt it matters what way it gets done. Satin black is a good base for the gloss though I imagine.

Started restoring this old 1957 Puch MS50L moped.
Definitely something different, used to be my Fathers but has been buried in shed and under firewood stack off and on for last 35 years at least with seized piston.
They seem to have quite a following in Europe and plenty of places selling parts for them, including trick stuff I kid you not.
Standard they make a whopping 1.8HP LOL

Hmmmmmmmm, (pic saved and filed away for future building). Simple and effective, I like.

Saw on Advrider a pretty cool bike work table made out of a hospital bed mech. Power lift on those things can lift 200KG fat people so should have a 50% or better safety margin. Plus it's on casters so can roll around the workshop, etc.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

So a few months have past and at last its all come together, re-spary by Mark at Kolorinn Kustoms, seat repair and recover by McDonald Motor Trimmers, polishing, rebuild and money to fund the whole thing by me!

All I have to do now is to get it started and tuned, then ready for the WOF and a some miles of smiles
