Six Day version or standard KTM 350EXCF? Or a 250?

I am looking at upgrading from my Honda CRF250X to a KTM 350 EXCF and am wondering for anyone who has a six day or a standard bike can discuss their opinions on the advantages of having a six day or is it really just a bit of bling that makes the bike look cool.
And while we're at it how does the 250cc version stack up against a Honda CRF250x for power delivery and gearing?

    Cheers Jay

A 6day has a bling factor four sure and is it any better then a standard model for some yes but most would be hard pressed to tell the difference. If you've got the cash nothing shouts it like a 6 day, me I'd love 1 but don't have the cash to buy one.

Depends on how hard you intend to ride it too.

The Six Days does have more bling, but the 4CS Closed chamber forks are also heaps better under high speed compression at pace. For myself, the forks, radiator braces, fan and triple clamps is easily worth the $1500 premium. Get a set of spare plastics from new, chuck the Sardinia plastics in a cupboard until it's time to sell and your bike will be worth more than a stocker too.

Yep, well worth spending the extra to get the 6 day.

Wish I had. the first thing you will do is put a fan kit on if you don't.

thanks White Trash for your input. Good point about the spare plastics.
I was wondering if the forks made much of a difference and I had thought that if i buy a stock bike i would have to add the radiator braces and skid plate too.
    Cheers

Plastic skid plate is stock on all of them, standard or 6D. But yeah, those forks are a thing of beauty.
