If any of you are coming over for a motorcycle holiday alone or with the Mrs - it's still quite OK here. I haven't had any grief.

If you are coming over in a group - even a small group - for the time being I would avoid Queensland altogether and head for Northern NSW.
The riding is better anyway.

I can well understand how Kiwis get sick of the sheep jokes. Ignorance is not universal however.

The work force here is full of Kiwis that are motivated to work, to support themselves, and to achieve something without all the manufactured baggage created in NZ to justify shitbags and bludgers.

The country should have concentrated everything on retaining the workers and entrepreneurs rather then building a system that fucks them all over in order to support a grievance industry.

Been trying to, Only have a six month window to bring over a personal vehicle and Ive been here almost 18 months.

Probably going to have to buy something local.

I've been invited to 'bring cameras' so will try and film any police interaction.
Unlike NZ that is not illegal. About the only thing currently though!

I'm not a Ulysses member but am age-eligible. My riding gear over here is a very faded H-D orange-and-black mesh jacket, black Draggin' Jeans, a black Shoei Multitec with a light smoke visor (saves swapping glasses for sunglasses) and nary a patch in sight (even the H-D logo is barely readable these days). And, yes, I was pulled over for "inspection". I had been warned on how to react - or rather how to not react - by a couple of riders I'd met on the road / at a gas station. Just as well. The phrase "looking for trouble" came to mind. And it wasn't me looking.
