Just a note to take it easy when going down through the last cutting on Birch Hill rd / Ashley Gorge Rd (just before you reach the hills) There is loose stuff on the rd where they have removed some fallen trees from the bank but not swept the road. The wheel tracks are clear.

There, that is the safety message for the day
These aren't the bikes we're looking for....

Awwe I was hoping to bring the missis on her GN250 and pop along at the back, buuuut the battery died today.

just as well I've prepared a whole summer of sunny Wednesday night rides for such an occasion.

A challenge was issued by someone who shall remain nameless. (Hint he likes wheelies) Next WNR to have corners on it Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!

    So here goes.

BK, Gasson, Milton, Sparks. First regroup at Halswell vets. Some may wish to join up here. Old Taitap Rd and round to Gebbies, over the Summit Rd to Dyers Pass, down to Governors Bay, and back through to Gebbies pass via Teddington. Back onto the Akaroa hiway and to Taitap at the Pub.

I think the nameless one's orange thing might have the range for that

Why not BK, Ferrymead, up Mt Pleasant Rd, Summit Rd, down Evans Pass to Sumner, Bridle Pass Rd though Tunnel around the bays up Dyers Pass, Summit Rd to Gebbies Pass then Tiatap Pub.
Old Tia Tapu Rd on the way home, more corners that way round
