It isn't a Safari, nor a IMS? Acerbis? maybe, 8-10 gallons?
Wonder what sort of price that will fetch?
    Is it worth over $2000?
i'd buy it, those old klrs go forever, the Tank, powerbomb o/s header with FMF zorst and rims you'd be looking at 2k replacement. love the single seat.

Same tank as on mine. 500kms if you ride economically I reckon, but usually about 420ish.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

Hard to price though, and I have had assurances that it will go the full distance on auction. No withdrawn auctions, not advertised anywhere else, an honest farmer

IMS, real common on KLRs. 26-28 litres depending on temperature, manufacture etc, no-one knows for sure. They are also a great radiator guard.

Hopefully I will get it. I have seen it in the flesh, ridden it too, it sounds bloody awesome!
Don't know what it is worth though...There are a few things to change but it is a great old beast and there are some NEW things, esp Carbie, complete wheels, rims, spokes. It is very dirty, but after some tlc in my camp it will look great alongside the aprilia and the DR...
There is loads of interest, but only one has visited thus far, oh and someones sister

It was funny, I arrived, nice bloke Craig showed me the bike. We couldn't start it, it was flooded and then the battery died. I got on the quad, he bumped it, then it stalled and we had to do the same again.
The fuel leak is not an issue, just some gland that has perished. I went for a blat down their long metal driveway, almost a km, then went around the metal roads for a bit of a blast.
It has impressive pick up and I suggest the new Carburetor down under and the FMF pipe gives it a few more ponies!

It will need a paint I think, shrouds, panels etc, thinking white or orange...haha....
The only thing holding up the sale will be my bidding ability? I sure am gonna stay home on the night of the auction and wait and see. I wish I knew what he paid for it a couple of years ago?

    Interesting.

This is the feedback someone gave ??

    ulko8 (100 ) 29/12/12
    warrenmh was the seller
    (#539214405)

he was misrepresenting his bike.Advertised as ;running very well, could do with a little cosmetic makeover;I found it to be dangerously faulty. The bottom of tank was brazed slightly leaking, the frame had cracks, engine mounts where loose, the chain damaged ,the gearlever welded on,steering bearing broken the list goes on.my fault for not looking before .when I suggested to him a part refund he didnot show any goodwill.
That is not fair.Make sure you have a good look at what you are buying here.

$1 reserve..rode the bike before taking..gave him heaps of free parts and $200 back..muppet

Still if its going ok regardless of Ks and you get for around $2500 would be cool, would even have a ride on it for you

Yes, saw that, so your point is? WTF does that have to do with a bike I have just ridden and seen? AND the new owner is very pleased with said bike....Just hasn't had the time to ride it!
We all have some feedback, he said she said, right?
AND the muppet bought it sight unseen, so totally different story!

Well, I got this reply from warren....

hi mark... list as follows ...new rims powdercoated and rebuilt with s/s spokes , frame blasted and painted, new handle bars and bark busters, new 7 gallon tank, new single seat , new full fmf s/s exhaust, new foot pegs, discs, reg/rec/cdi/ dohickey , caliper guards, highway pegs ,bash plate.front and rear sprockets, new rear shock, new carb, progressive springs, grips and switch block, led indicators, front guard, as well as other stuff replaced cam chain engine comp test was perfect.....When i sold it i was about to do the trans america trail solo i left nothing to chance this bike was the best dirt/dual purpose in mjy opinion thats why i built it.....good luck mark hope this helps regards waren

And no, you ain't ever gonna ride it! Thanks for your valuable input.....
