bollox to thirty seconds or spray n walk away, just mix 200ml janola or a bit more if using budget bleach, with 100ml sugar soap and 5L water in a napsack sprayer, give the roof a dousing of that ...leave for a day then waterblast from top to bottom, one sheet width at a time just like mowing the lawns but the view is better. kill rust system isnt the best, crc rust converter is (or equivlnt) just brush it on the rust (dont need to wire brush it) and watch it turn into a black undercoat (seriously)

    Yeah.
WHat's up with that? It's SO fauckin hard to get lead anything now (my roof flashings are shit, coz the roofers don't do lead no more. Anyone'd think lead went around attacking and murdering people, but it's mostly pretty inert, unless you eat it.
Fuck the do-gooders that have made life so boring and difficult.
Anyhoo - good luck wiv your roof. I can't come and help you as I'm doin "home improvement" myself.

Be hard for him to get anyone to do it for $5 and a bag of chips.

Still, maybe he could get a WINZ quote or dob in a cuz for the reward money.

I used meguiars wash and wax for my shed roof a few years back. Worked real good.

Been putting off doing the house, but wifey has now told me it needs doing and its gonna be a bastard and a half. Two story 2 teir type high peak thing with a long way to fall on the downhill side and me being accident prone. Will probarbly require some sort of scaffolding. PITA. Tried 30 seconds on part of it and it seemed to work ok-ish.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

Cover it in gas and set it on fire. Problem solved.

Failing that a BFH and a sense of adventure?

    The reason why is $$$'s.
A roofer mate is desperately trying to get lead at sensible prices.

Got the solution for ya Rob. Get settled in your favourite outdoor chair with a crate of your favourite ale. Lock the kids indoors and get your granny to do the roof.
I'd like to come and help you out but i'm busy that day (what day was that again?) No need to thank me.

    Cheers
