your right, but not as much proof to convict, only proof that their is a charge to answer, but ill leave it to Dotcom's team of high priced lawyers, and PR spin staff to argue that,

If he has broken copyright law, then he was in New Zealand when he did it and his servers where here too ... He has broken NZ law and should be prosecuted here ...
I fail to see how US laws apply to people living here ... If US laws do apply to people living here then there is a sovereignty issue ... and we are all in the shit ... US law does not override NZ law in NZ ..
