Might head out Old Mountain Rd way today. Probably around lunch if anyone's keen. No real plan (Other than not coming off and needing a plate in the shoulder... Not refering to anyone..)

Yer, overdue for a run yous guys way
Funny that 2 1L bottle thing, My DR (that Dino also owned once) came with 2 1L reserve fuel cans mounted at the back, as the fuel range is around 500ks on the standard 29litre tank I"m unsure where in NZ you would have call for that![]()

^^Think I might have a go at this.... Give the WRR a workout. Never done one of these events before. Any of you guys do them on your Dual sports?
Went for a bit of an adventure a couple days ago... Through the Taupri Range... Probably trespassing?wasn't stoped though
Lots of gates and livestock to navigate..
Also went out Old Mountain road area.
Waikoha road was pobably my fave, even though its a dead end; locked gate so you cant go up the track there.
Begining to learn 90% of the tracks I visit after searching topo maps are not accessible. Thats why I'll start doing organized rides; want to get some tight & tricky stuff in.![]()

Oh maybe I shouldn't be posting my own solo reports in here? Annoying?
I might just keep blog to keep a record of what I was up to when... Save this thread more for group rides; and your minds from my drivel![]()

Yeah both good routes. Basicly did the second one a couple days ago.
Went and had a looksie at the Aprilia RXV at NTB today reeeal nice bike felt so light and nice just sitting on the thing. They want to much for it though, salesman even admitted that, bosses bike or something.

Turn around and run, they haven't got your number have they, Admit it I'd be tempted though
and it would need a lot of mods to be rideable, 20oz flywheel, 25litre tank, remaping of injection for resonable fuel economy, bar end weights to stop vibes, new seat, and so on and so on
Then she'd be trick and perhaps even practical
BTW nice ride report![]()
