I think the miles are genuine as the bike is being sold as part of a deceased estate, the bike had been under wraps for 8 years and belonged to someone who scored it through the bike industry and never actually used it apart from on his property a few times and perhaps to the shops.
My only concern was in regard to the problems that come from lack of use only.

In 1976, I could not bring myself to part with my money for this model. It was so damn ugly.
I wanted the awesome silver and blue XL350, which to me was the most beautiful bike on earth.
But it was no longer available.
Luckily, a few months later I fell in love with the new Yamaha XT500C brochure, and all thoughts of tiny 350cc
Hondas vanished. . . . I parted with my money immediately.
Honda must have executed the designer of that particular XL350, because in 1979 the gorgeous XR500 emerged.
I bought 2 of these.
