Not so sure. I reckon if he came back he would absolutely get his arse handed to him on a plate by Marquez. His V8 exercise, after initial massive fanfare, died away dramatically when he was barely top-ten material in the support series. I reckon in 50 years of watching bike racing, for balls and bike control Stoner is the best I'd seen (I don't give a fuck about what happens off the bike with the helmets off) but I reckon MM would blow him into the weeds nowadays. Time to drift away and do something else...maybe even (shudder) get a job ?

Just because he didn't get to grips with the car, doesn't mean he wouldn't or couldn't soon get back to grips with the bike. Maybe we'll see, maybe we won't. But surely if he did and was able to run at the front again it'd spice things up nicely! Especially with Rossi back there.

Well Stoner is in Texas 'cause he posted on Twitter that he was at the SuoerX.

GD66, Interesting thought that Stoner should get a job. Hard to see what he could do, he never has been able to get on with people. He likes model cars, fishing, and living on his farm.
S'pose he could grow something on the farm?

Something tells me a job isn't something Stoner will ever have to have if he doesn't want to.

The "ta" in Bimota. The man was an artist.

He wasn't crook all that long, bloody lung cancer, same as Taglioni.

Some of the sexiest two-wheeled weaponry slid gracefully off his drawing-board, plenty of Italian stuff makes you drool but his was the best.

    Hats off.
