I had a great ride today. Hamilton to Waingaro Rd, up to the hotel (which was closed). Carried on up to Ngaruawahia, and then down the 39 with a couple of side roads.

Was good fun, and this clip is only two minutes long... although at some point I may release the full-length footage.

its becoming painfully obvious that those that self mutilate with tattoos meant solely impress others: suffers at the very least from an identity crisis, hence the reasoning behind attempting to express oneself with the cry for help. Add low EQ and lower IQ scores to the list.. according to research: http://therealnewsoftheworld.blogspo...s-and.html?m=1
So you calling me stupid wannabe with low Iq for enjoying body art and expressing my self? Nice. If thats the case, how did I get my PPL and CPL ?

How do you find GP shifting? I'm thinking we might do it with a mates track bike. Thought about it with the Daytona, but don't need to change gears that often

I absolutely love it. shifting up (press down) while tucked or leant over seems a lot more effortless, and while you're leant over, you don't have to worry about getting your foot caught (I have size 12 feet).

Shifting down (press up), makes more sense, especially when coming up to a corner, as you are lifting your body up, so rotating your ankle at the same time seems a lot more natural than 1 down-5 up.

It all comes down to user preference though. I first started using race-shift pattern on my RG-150, followed by my FZR400. Those mods were easy (just had to switch the pivot 180 degrees for the shifter). For the Firestorm, I bought the VFR800 gear shift as I didn't feel like pulling out an angle grinder etc You get people that swear by either side of the shifting pattern. I'd say: If you can try both, do it... and whichever you feel more comfortable with, go with that.

I don't have that video anymore... and even if I did, I'd rather let the past be the past.

My friend on the Aprilia has a royally fucked back... so he can't even slide his arse off the seat.

It also limits the ride time... so we can't exactly go and do the full 22, even with extra meds... although he really wants to.
