    News just in:
    A Diego Garcia Colonel has revealed that a US C-130 dropped the Black boxes from MH370 into the suspected crash area of the Indian Ocean.

    More news to follow!!

    Now they are saying that the 'about a month' battery life expectation for the black box pinging device was referring to a non-leap year February.

    The pings have hence stopped

    That was the original one. This one will be a cloned one made for the job and they will switch it off once they have enough pings for their cover story.
    Military buffs might remember the old Sosus listening system in the atlantic from cold war. That was years ago.
    Its incomprehensible to think in todays modern world that there isn't something in that region either fixed or mobile that would have heard the pings as soon as they started.
    Even our navy has antisub frigates the Oz must have a few. With the Anti Somali pirate ops there must be plenty of various naval ships transiting indian ocean also...
