Shit, half the time I sit on the grid with the bike in gear the whole time. One less thing to have a problem with as I've been caught before.

MSMA Agree To Freeze Electronic Development Ahead Of 2016 Switchover

The factories are being all cooperative and sharing

    http://motomatters.com/news/2014/04/..._developm.html

    I like this bit

From that point on, the factories in the MSMA will concentrate their attention on the collaborative effort to develop the standard software to be used by all of the MotoGP bikes from 2016 onwards. Development is to be done via a common portal under the control of Dorna, with all of the factories contributing functionality and code for everyone to review and use.

    Hmmm.

    Code:
    if complicated_conditional_that_only_Honda_understands:
       increase_power_by_20_percent

Yeah. it wasn't a small fuck up.
It wasn't a jump start that they have to analyse with the high speed video.
It was a fuck up of galactic proportions...

    OK a consensus has emerged.

Maybe Smith was making a racer "in joke" about how early Jorge went.

Quite possibly, it did seem very late. First gear doesn't always just snick in, sometimes it plays hard to get. It'd be seriously embarrassing to be stuck on the grid kicking at the lever increasingly frantically while everyone else took off.

Lorenzo came out with some strange explanations, he complained that the red light came on suddenly instead of being on all the time as happened everywhere else.
This statement was greeted with a collective WTF? He has waited for enough sets of lights to know how they work, and the rules governing them.

After he commented that mosquitos on his visor were the cause of his problem, one of the journos commented that it was lucky he missed the fish in turn one.

Marquez is starting to play head games with Lorenzo and had a couple of verbal shots at him in Texas. After the race MM told the Spanish TV that he made a good start, but not as good as Lorenzo.

That was me 2 years ago at Paeroa... front group of the classic class (split start). Fucking piece of shit standard Norton 4 speed box, ended up kicking it into second and raping the clutch. Caused me to crash at the hairpin in the 1st race, wouldn't select 1st there either....
