    Of course if they did it here it would go to the cheapest vendor and be made of of non UV stablised plastic like the white road markers are now made off and just snap.

    I have a mate who used to supply the white markers till they lost the contract to China....

    They should make those cheese-cutter centre barrier things out of the same cheap shit so they'd smash instead of dicing. ohhahhh ..Makes me shiver every time I ride on a main road and see them. What were those bloody roading officials thinking of? ...Scarey

    Went for a spin today. One road (Esk-Kilkoy Rd) lead past a dammed reservoir. This is decidedly a B road, but great for motorcyclists.
    What REALLY impressed me was that every length of Armco on the outside of right-handers was bottom railed. In this case, galvanised box section was used.
    Britain and many countries in Europe have used a variety of shields for some years now.
    NZ has no excuse not to use something to cover those exposed posts.
    Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
