Moe: Well, I'm better than dirt. Well, most kinds of dirt. I mean not that fancy store bought dirt. That stuffs loaded with nutrients. I...I can't compete with that stuff.- The Simpsons
Exactly the reason why yr bikes wont last too long before their put to work in the local forests-I was recently nearby and heard offers of all sorts, bikes included-locals sure do know how to turn otherwise nice places into living shitholes of hell,as they say 'solid g' and 'hard' more often than not followed by a hoicky-all gd IF yr of that calibre otherwise I hear roxborough in the sth isl sounds like the place to be,very little crime apparently-no points for guessing why
beware of ferrets-the aimless wondering two legged kind often found loitering about the vicinity of un attended cars/machinery homes and business premises after hours.....most commonly found in areas such as sth akl, murupara, kaingaroa, ruatoki, minginui, tokeroa etc and no doubt mangikino.....a fellow high school feral often visited the area and raved about the mischief he and his 'bros' got up to.Later on in life he and his bros were on the beers when they decided they needed more so visited some farmers late in the night-needless to say it ended in tragedy
Mangakino needs a casino and a whore house........................
To drumb up busisness for the morons that visit.
Chill Akld folk, Its all jokes,...............sort of![]()
So how often do you visit?
..... and well done to his ''bros''.
Got down here on Thursday, lit the outdoor fire then sat and watched the flames with a cold beer or two, way fun. Had a good walk around this morning (after a fry up breekie) and met a few locals, very cool people indeed so far, friendly and welcoming. Stopped off at the two cafe's along the way and had a sausage roll that needed a knife a and fork eat. Got the heat pump sorted also, will be installed next week... back at work midday Monday but that seems a way off yet.
Hope your weather up there is better than down here in Otemavagus, snow wind and rain rain rain, very cold and very very boring!
Next week is Brass monkey week end so guess it will good for that this year!.

It has been very mild here this weekend, bit disappointed actually, I was looking forward to some decent cold. We discovered we have a HUGE tangelo tree in the garden, needed a ladder to pick the fruit. Got about 20kgs and did not even make a dent in the fruit on the tree. We have a chook from next door roosting in the tree beside us. Many, many pics taken, will upload when we get home. Spent today cleaning the house. It was clean, but not my clean. I have reconnected with an old work colleague who lives here. She is well connected in the community so we have the inside running in being accepted by the locals.
Really, really delighted with the decision to buy here. Now planning what trees to plant once the old, scraggy ones have been taken out. The big tangelo stays! I have a fig tree in a pot that might like it down here...
