Maybe I'll start a thread about cycle safety. I'll post a link that causes your smart phone camera to come on and show the reader a picture of themselves.

Coz that's who can do the most to improve their own safety. Just like motorcyclists.

Clocked off. So now I can go back to being obscene and disrespectful. Just like Akzle. Deep down I admire him for at least sticking to his guns.

So what happens when you pull this stunt in front of a P smoker or a car load of gang members??? Cycle lobby groups scream for protection and obeying of road rules but their the first to break them when it suits, prob more so than motorbikers even!!!
Everyone is cool with riding around obvious potholes, rough roads etc.
But deliberately obstructing traffic is small man syndrome road rage.

BTW its not the vehicles 'passing to close' that you should be worried about. If someone is going to run into you its probably because they're completely oblivious to your presence or not paying attention.
Its quite common for a variety of road users to run into parked vehicles due to the above. Should we start parking our cars in middle of road to stop people from running into them???

I got run over by a hilux on my motorbike once waiting to turn right, the lady was doing her makeup or something...
Now I just as easily could have been a cyclist in same spot and everyone would be crying out for special lanes and 1.5m etc....

A cycle lane must be safe ... ??? .. Cars parked with occupants ready to open their doors in front of you on the left side. And flowing traffic (some heavy) to your right.

All done with a piece of reinforced plastic on your head ... as the sole legal requirement for your safety. What possibly could go wrong .. ???

Its true I do have a small penis. Thats OK your Mum doesnt seem to mind.

Please don't tell me what I should be worried about on the roads. I worry about everything.

To be honest I was never much of a roadie. I managed to hurt myself sufficiently on a mountainbike running into bits of scenery that adding HM highways and their users to the mix seemed to be asking for trouble. But as I said earlier, I did commute by bike pretty much every day for 16 or so years. I have seen pretty much every bit of fuckwittery there is to see by drivers. And cyclists. And motorbike riders. and truck drivers.

As I also said earlier, the only way to reduce cyclist road rage is for cyclists to have their own space that cars cannot use. Separated, and not just by paint. I mentioned Portland, Amsterdam and Copenhagen, another poster mentioned the Netherlands too.

Do you know what they put on French fries in Amsterdam?
