I do at least 100km a week on push bike around Christchurch streets, and I don't give a fuck about motorcyclists using cycle lanes, as long as they're not being dicks about it.

The only Dutch delicacy I can recall is "uismeijter", which sounds more exotic than it is.

That translates to fanny batter in my Dutch dictionary.

    Ma BrothA!

ps...Why are peddlebikes not forced by law to have a minimum of one mirror?....EVERY other road going vehicle must legally have mirrors...or they are not allowed on the road, due to being being at risk ooof...being rear ended or pulling out into the path of a truck! they have not seen...funny that ay, whats the figures on cyclists being struck from behind again Rastuscat? (And why is "Good use of mirrors" so high on the list during any license sitting?)

It's a bit tricky to fit any decent sized mirrors to a road (push) bike, and the extra weight and wind resistance is not good.

I thought the "royale with cheese" was what they called it in france.
Or has Amsterdam been moved recently, without me hearing about it.

It's the brain piercing lights they point straight at windscreen height that fucks me off.

Wet morning before it gets light, and being blinded coming up to a round-a-bout. Good times.

I suggest you google "cycle mirrors" images...you may get a shock at the range, shit, you can even get them with indicators and running lights.

...or is it asking FAR to much to ask cycles to invest $20-$50 to add to there own road safety?...or is it easier to just sit back and demand change from others while making no effort or change yourself

Cyclist need to move into the 21st century...the roads have changed, but they seem to reluctant to adapt even for there own safety?...hence, let the law do it for them (Like THATS ever gonna happen!...they seem to be invisible to the popo and currently get away with murder!...there own!!)
