    looks good to me.

The rear rack isn't stock either, it's a factory accessory. The rear indicators aren't stock.

    Seems a reasonable price.

It's a pretty rare thing, so I wouldn't get to worried about it. It's one of these fabtastic internets things, where you can have a handful of bikes out of thousands with that kind of failure, and it gets blown out of the water.

Nope, have not even asked the fella any questions or anything yet, still a few things I am undecided about. From what I can gather, this is one of the better deals out there. But I really want a brand new one and the boss( her indoors) needs more convincing. Tis a work in progress at the moment.

I know of 3 bikes in NZ it's happened to, but the numbers are still low enough to be considered a rare event.

Have the new models fixed this problem, or is it still an issue? Brand new they are only $10.000. I have always wanted to buy a brand new bike that no one else has had a chance to trash, even though the one in the link looks like it has been well cared for.

I'm to lazy to look for you at the mo but there were two pretty much brand new ones on there a few weeks ago for 8-9k...with all the goodies you'd want (namely a bigger tank ). Without a doubt a good, maybe better than new?, way to go.

Without knowing what sort of access she has to sharp objects all I'll say is it's easy to beg forgiveness than ask permission.

I think I may have used up all of my forgive me cards.

the $4500 price difference, not including farkles will buy a lot of gas, and she'll use a blunter knife.

Yep, second hand sounds like a go. Mate has the same year, with a bit more fruit on it, but paid $5600. And I love his bike, I may just organize an accident for him.

Went into the local Suzuki shop today and decided I will definitely not be dealing with them.
