I have not yet seen the MotoGP race. In the Moto2 race when the dude on the yellow bike highsided out, and the dude on the red bike (massive props to him) put himself into the gravel to avoid him.... did the guy in the yellow have an air bag suit which inflated? He sort of scuttled crab-like through the gravel and I thought it might be because the bags had inflated and held him in his racing crouch. Curious... anyone know?

Yip,
Seen plenty of top level riders use it,Here and overseas,Its called racecraft,Controlling the race pace or whatever else you may wish to call it,Seems to depend who does it as to how it is seen,Atleast Rossi didn't pass under a yellow (Well not this time anyways haha)
Robert Holden taught me a great one years back that I got to apply to him in an all in triumph race class in the uk, as I passed him on the streigh I reached over and hit his KILL SWITCH haha he was not happy untill I reminded him of him doing it to a rider here years before hand, I studied Robert intenselly, he was always my NZ hero.
all three of those guys looked to be riding like there literally was nothing more to give. What impresses me the most was twice the clearcut desision made to remove any potential advantage gained from mistakes.-Yep riding on the edge, yea racecraft,But gentlemen with it.
-Yea ok it also removed any possibility of position and points srtipping but it was just so well done.
To see a life newly created. To watch it grow and prosper. Isn't that the greatest gift a human being can be given?
Can't complain about a lack of drama in that race - brilliant.
Minutae detali of the weekend: I may be a bit slow, but I see that the Yamaha factory bikes have changed from Termignoni pipes to Akrapovic. Not sure exactly when that happened, but I guess it makes people who sell the Herzagovina company's products happy.
I see they had the new pipes in Argentina but can't find an earlier photo that shows the right side of the bike. I guess they have been using them all season.

There is a grey blur, and a green blur. I try to stay on the grey one. - Joey Dunlop
I also noticed that the Honda bikes have a new looking piece of carbon fibre under the swingarms on both sides?

I can now agree with those on here who have experienced a GP: TV just doesn't do it justice — it is simply amazing when you're actually there amongst 90,000-odd others. Very memorable experience. If you ever get the chance to go to a GP, take it with both hands.
