Statistic I read this morning provided some perspective. In eighteen months Marquez has won as many GPs as Biaggi won in eight years in the top class.

That will be great, as I worry as to how long Audi is going to put up with Ducati in MotoGP...

I'd be very surprised if Gigi hasn't sat down with Audi and Ducati management and gotten approval and backing for his plan to sort things out. That plan is most likely to span then next 18 months, not just this season.

Must be starting to hurt sales if you where a GP fan would you buy a Ducati?
Vicious circle is forming for them they wont be able to get a decent rider even if they could fix the bike?
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

You're right about getting decent riders, although the moment they get a win they'll have a truck load of riders wanting to sign up for them. Everyone wants a Factory ride, that's been proven in recent years. No matter how bad the results have been they've still gotten great riders, although not the absolute best.

As for sales, the Panigale appears to be out selling everything else. It's weird cos Ducati has always heavily banked on the win on Sunday, sell on Monday philosophy and it's worked. Until now. This looks more like a case of sexiness sells instead of success sells.

The guy that resembles Stoner the closest is MM. Although the others are catching on
Isnt it interesting that all their training is dirt flat track ??

Chaz and Giugliano have had their moments but so far you'd be hard pressed to say it's been a great success. However, in the EVO class it definitely has been successful.

Yeah pretty sure I read that MM uses basically the same sort of settings Stoner did. And yeah...MM is a weapon on a flat track. Looks like Rossi is more prepared to ride the bike sideways than Lorenzo...so maybe that's why Lorenzo's having such a tough time of it this season? Needs to forget the 250 riding style and get the thing sideways...

Every second vid thats on FB via motoGP etc is either Rossi at his ranch on his flat track or MM racing his mates doing the same thing.
They are both pretty good tbh. Cant remember seeing anything of the other riders maybe its the last 1/4% and its paying off?
Although DP was onto it last GP
