    Blah Awesomely stupid!

I've begun my latest project with a zxr250c engine and frame at the heart. A turbo 250 no less!

(I can hear the skeptics foaming at the mouth already)

    The parts list so far:

    zxr250c engine,
    zxr250c frame
zxr400 forks and modified triple clamps
nc30 (vfr400) singlesided swing arm with a custom 4x100 hub
toyota sourced ct20 turbo (2.0L diesel hilux etc..)
IMF electronic ignition (the only commercially and cheaply available unit that will handle the 22,000rpm I need)
    custom carbon fiber plenum
    Nissan 300zx intercooler core
    zxr250 front wheel
and a number more braking etc parts

Progress has been very slow, as I am currently living in Wellington while my bike languishes in my hometown Nelson,

But I will be returning within a month and will finally have the time to devote to the full build!

For now, a few photos of the schematics, designs, and parts I have amass will be uploaded, then as the full build starts, you'll get all the nitty gritty (full custom exhaust and lots of nice CF parts!) photos on a regular basis.

Let the tirade of "stupid idea" s begin!

From the multiple threads I don't think many have ever said it can't be done.

I'll ask a slightly different question. Have you ridden any larger capacity bikes?

Well it will be an interesting project if you already have the bits, been done before though.
USEd to have an FZR250 and an extra 15BHP would have been nice, but that was before we had lightweight 120hp 600cc bikes that are just as light n nimble...
    Good luck...

Never mind the turbo. Just put a longer power band in it. Say 30 footer should be enough for extra 50kph at the to end
I've spent my money on bikes, booze and babes. The rest I've wasted....
