    Honda cbr150r

Generally commuting, and motorway spells on weekends across city and around.

Honda CBR150R = 30-32 km/l (depending premium or regular fuel)

not too much of a difference seen coz primarily urban run 5 x week

Holy thread-dredge Batman! But seeing as we're here, I'm less that impressed at the 13.2km/l I'm getting out of my GSR600. Been checked out at the shop and everything found to be in order. Commuting only but still, my carburetted 600 Bandit was getting about 18km/l doing the same work. Less than happy!

    HAHAHA!

Hey Oakie, since you're one of the few on the forum to have had a CB400 super four with the Vtec, you reckon you could dig up sum mileage memories of different types of riding on the old Honda? Since you're here anyways

Memories be damned. I keep records! Over a 1 year period it returned an average of 18.2km/l ranging from 16.1km/l to 20.2km/l. How 'bout that!

    Fuel what????

19 litre tank on my Bandit 1200 (less than standard)

    ride nice and calm 320ks
ride like a nutcase fully geared and packed up on tour i got as bad as 180ks

    so about 17ks a ltr
to as little as 9.5ks a ltr

Tyre wear is bad as well - my Toyota is far cheaper to commute in

AWESOME LOVE IT - I didn't buy a bike to be economical

Fuelly tells me I'm getting 5.5l/100km aka 18.1km/l aka 42.7 mikes/gallon. That's on the 750. No idea on the 350, just fill it up when I switch to reserve. Tiny tank.

Its not you i'm poking a stick at, (i get plenty of smiles per gallon) its a gybe at the oldies (and americans) that insist on using outdated units of measure.

The ST1300 gets somewhere around 16-17 kms per litre of go juice. It could get better, but I'd be having less fun. It could get worse, which would mean I'm paying for extra fun - I wouldn't want to get caught having too much fun though!

Would it be cheaper to commute to work by car?
    Who the fuck cares!
Cars: are too wide, have twice the ideal number of wheels and they lean the wrong way around corners!
Besides, every day while working I'm looking forward to the ride home - I wouldn't get that feeling about a drive in a car.

13 kms/l from the SV1000 and 31 km/l from the CBR250R. The 250 literally pays for its running and registration costs in fuel savings over using the SV1000S as a daily commuter.
