You don't want an RC30 - believe me. I've been into a couple and unless it's been maintained by a fastidious obsessive compulsive, it'll get expensive bloody quickly. Once done though, nice to ride for the short time before it has to be sold to defray costs...

Fix the bloody driveway then flick the house for the excessive profits being seen in ChCh at present. Then live in a caravan and have as many bikes as you want....

You have just ruined the appeal of a bike I've always wanted. May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your privates!

If you ride one for any serious distamce - RC30, not camel - the engine heat in the groin area will (a) kill the fleas, and (b) render you sterile.

Nice bike to lust after but fuck, fixing one to a reasonable standard is bloody expensive. One i did had the cush drive springs in the 2 piece cam gears collapse. Didn't know they had them there did you? Anyway to fix that involved making jigs to press the 3 piece cams apart and back together - maintaining alignment as well - no keys! - after we'd made new springs...and there are 4 cams too so it added up quickly....

What sort of man gets someone else to do their driveway

I knew they had cam cush drive springs, and I'm not at all surprised that Honda made it beyond difficult to replace them.

Wouldn't matter if that's the case. Since the swimmers are all ending up in the toilet anyway.

I could have bought one when I was in he UK about 2003-2004ish
Was only 7500GBP at Norfolk Honda dealer but 41000 miles. But it had been ridden well and a fair bit of salt corrosion, marks etc...
Should have bought instead of worrying about a house deposit.
They were an iconic bike alright but surely a modern day aprilia RSV4 is better value???

RSV4 isn't the same. For any number of reasons.
