I am a pussy, recommend me some heated grips for my Dominator please

Any recommendations? Appears to be only about three brands anyway? Any problem fitting them with bark busters? Thanks in advance.

Oxford here too, with barkbusters. On a relay, so go on and off with ignition so no flat battery.

Fagg real men freeze their fingers off then change their own tyres using their penis as a tyre lever.

Darn i had a different brand noted somewhere - USA ones that the buttons integrated into the grip rubber. Very clean looking.

Nil problems with barkbusters, in fact they make them much more effective at highway speeds.

I would go with oxford. Have used in past and worked well.

Some people report success with the cheapie 'element only' kits that go under existing grips... personally I'd just pay the lil extra and get the purpose built item.

Make sure to wire it through the relay (avoids overloading existing electrics), switched by the ignition (avoids flat batteries)

The new Oxfords are much betterer, you can hook them up to the battery with no worries. they turn themselves off well. They have changed them quite a bit. Much easier to wire up as well.

Have used Oxfords for six years. No problems.

I had some Daytona ones that worked fine. Chopped a hole in the end to fit the barkbusters no problem. Like the Oxfords however they are a big hard grip, all good if that suits you but now I have some of the Symtec/Dual Star stick on elements under a set of my favourite Renthal grips. Cheaper AND better (for me) - but you do need to take some care with the install & wiring.

    Cheers

Thanks for this link, I hadn't seen these before and I am in the market for heated grips.

On my last bike I went with Hotgrips - these seem very similar to the Oxford offering - I found a couple of things about these annoying enough to look for an alternative.
They worked fine but the grips themselves are very hard (would prefer a softer grip), and they are quite a bit larger than standard.
I was going down the path of using the wrap around and use my own choice of grips.
I will give these a try.

New oxfords auto switch off thing seems to work quite well. I was going to wire in a relay but they seem to consistently turn off within a couple of minutes every time. Makes for an easy install. Come in three sizes as well..adventure , tour and sport from memory. They are pretty hard grip though..

There are so many positives to the Oxfords, it is a shame there was one negative that was enough for me to pull mine off after just 5 days of use.

The reason is in my review here: http://www.remotemoto.com/articles/oxford-sports-grips/
