At that point during protests it came as a shock to realise that:
    1. Not everybody was as right thinking as me.
    2. Some people (people that included friends and family) were not open to debate or reasonable discussion.
    3. Some people even wanted to do me harm on the basis of my beliefs.
    4. Some of these people were policemen...

So no, having people trying to crack your heed is not a fun place to be.
So u either went to teachers college
    Or had a subsidized education

And u might have noticed. . People still have difficulty in agreeing with u

That is the nature of democracy.
Some people may have trouble agreeing with me, but at least they understand me.
Maybe you should have taken advantage of more subsidised education, instead of coming across like an ignorant dork..

Information is everywhere...we can see through smack talk from politicians in a instant. We can find the facts in a instant.
You also Need to ponder political history...I feel your position takes only selected facts on board and ignores the rest.

The reason I vote is the same reason I'd punch a bear who was trying to eat me. It's futile, but I'm not going down without a fight.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Now if we had someone like Penny Low the Singaporean politician, I would happily vote.

Didn't do too well at school eh? Allegory is a common form of story telling. It's used to illustrate a point, not make one.
