Sounds legit, he's not asking on his other auction and doesn't sell a lot of stuff.
Really wonder why you thought worthy of dragging in here....

So ... the Bank account number they will give you when you win the auction ... will be the charity mentioned.

That's nothing. Search KZ440 and. Ask if Fate has already played it's hand.

GRRRRRRRRR. World Vision? Far sighted feel gooder. Needs a reality check. The previous family in the state house next door fed the kids a couple of pot noodles a day, the old man & the couch had morphed in to a single stinking pile of vinyl, beer cans & flab. The mother could barely speak through fear of getting smacked by the eldest son or old man. I used to give them stuff out the garden & tell the youngest kid how to cook it. Made him really happy.

No time for this bollocks. Bike looks shite, too. Wouldn't give the seller the steam off me piss if they were freezing to death.

This is why I'm an atheist. Jesus wouldn't allow this sacrilege surely.

How rooted is it Paul? Has he binned parts or just given it a shitty coat with the vacuum cleaner. Might be that it was rough to start with and the resto would be much the same either way?

Cool find actually, I'd like it if it hasn't been too butchered as Paul suspects.

I hadn't seen it because my search criteria has been 500 and up as I slowly start to see what's out there for my next metal love affair and return to the road.

Feel free to get me the scoop if you know of any gems in the rough that might be looking for a new home around Christmas time lads.

    Cheers.

This sort of project is always much worse than it looks. There will have been no thought given to replacing the bits that expire with age or the bits that should get careful inspection and replacement like a top end rebuild. The "proceeds to charity" is just a cynical ploy to drum up interest and drive the price up by a few hundred bucks. The buyer will probably quickly come to the conclusion that it needs to be hosed down with petrol and incinerated.

yep same here. The good ol' USA is quick to send millions to various shitholes but won't do much about the poverty in states like Kentucky.

    Actually its more than millions...

Accept the original posters reply of a few beers clouding judgement

But hell buying the right bike is hard enough without worrying about where the sellers emotional and moral compasses point.
