    Cheap motorcycle repairs Auckland

    Hey,
I am posting here for those (particularly those with older/less than valuable bikes) that would be interested in a cheaper place to get your maintenance/work done.

So to get started, I am doing spark plugs, oil changes, and general maintenance such as that.. as well as carb cleans & syncs for the multi-carb bikes.

Also have onboard a certified refinisher that can do fairing repairs, tank & fairing paint, etc. at a good price.

Can also do thorough clean and polish jobs.

Auckland based.. car&trailer available for bike pickups at an additional cost.

For any questions, feel free to ask here, and PM me if you'd like a price quote on a job.

    Cheers

the key rings come off my key, my motorbike key that is. Is this the sort of work covered in your 'general maintenance such as that' ?
what sort of warranty period would you put on a job like this too?

Can replace it for $19.95 + $20 idiot tax.

1 month warranty - does not cover human error.

Please PM me for prices. Thanks

Have you run the numbers on this?

    It seems out of character.

Did not get a good feeling reading your pitch. I also think your targeting the wrong set of riders.

If you want to cater to the bottom feeders, post this in the scooter forum. Cagers on Chinese Mopeds would be good targets to start with while you build up your skills/business. Some shops won't even touch these Mopeds so you might also talk to some of the local shops about referring that work to you.

Im curious as to the range of tools at your disposal to perform this work, and what access you have to a range of manuals etc, so that you can ensure you are using correct torque specs and the like. - or do 'older/less than valuable' bikes only need the ol' "finger tight plus a quarter turn" approach?
