If you didn't watch the above try and catch the WSS race at least, great racing and a World Champion at the end of it.

You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..

Van der Mark has signed to ride two years in SBK. Significantly the contract is not with Ten Kate but with Honda. That could make his stated ambition to move to MotoGP in three years a tad easier to attain.

Mike van der Mark is something REALLY special.
He has won every championship he has been in over the past few years and the Suzuka 8hr at first attempt. Really special.
Great to see another leading rider out of Netherlands at last.

Read it here first: If the Honda is OK next year, he will win WSBK in first attempt.

Bit of a problem with that though as the current CBR is now really long in the tooth. Last year the CBR was farmed out to a Brit firm to try and extend its life by improving the electronics so there can't be too many options remaining. There is still no sign of the promised V4 and unless that, or a new CBR, appears at the upcoming round of shows next years riders may be struggling.

Yeah, that's right. Hence the caveat. Even if the new bike does appear, it will take a season to sort it out.

Hmmmmm, team orders? I kinda gotta agree with Steve Martin, if you can't beat your team mate you don't deserve to win

That whole team orders thing sucked. I want to see racing, not the fastest rider pulling back to let someone through. Look at Formula 1 with the racing between Hamilton and Rosberg. Top stuff.

Googliani and Sykes didn't win/come third in that race. Not really.

    I bloody hate that.
