On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

It has been reportedl Eugene Laverty is in talks with two MotoGP teams.

Two Yams and a Duc on the front row.
Horhay , Joe and Flossy in that order. Nice for a change.
From SB Planet, on Vale's latest hat:
As usual, Vale has a special helmet for the home event. The design plays on the fact that the Italian word for hand - mano - rhymes with Misano, it's the handprints of his crew, family and friends plus the paw prints of his dog and cat and two kisses - from his girlfriend and his mother. It doesn't look too good close up but it's great from a distance.
You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..
Is the Duc there because of the soft tyres?? Still annoys the shit out of me if it is?
All that does is stuff up the first laps of the race as Rossi alluded to in something I read about the last race.

Melandri on Gresini and Aprilia in MotoGP™
Friday, 12 September 2014
Former MotoGP™ rider Marco Melandri is present at the Gran Premio TIM di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini this weekend and is pleased to see Gresini Racing and Aprilia Racing agree to team up for 2015.
The former 250cc World Champion and MotoGP race winner left Grand Prix racing at the end of the 2010 season and is currently riding for the Aprilia Racing Team in the eni FIM Superbike World Championship.
Asked about whether he could be returning to MotoGP to be reunited with the Gresini Racing team - for whom he rode in the 2005-07 period – and to ride the Aprilia next year, Melandri answered: “It’s nice to see Gresini and Aprilia together. For me I will stay for sure with Aprilia. I have to understand what they will do, even in Superbikes, but I feel at home with Aprilia. So it’s going to be great to try and develop the bike myself.”
“I want to be back (in MotoGP) but I don’t want to be just a number. I know at the beginning it’s not going to be easy. I’m sure working step-by-step we can get a good result.”
Melandri’s aforementioned 250cc World title was achieved on Aprilia machinery in 2002. He later spent eight consecutive seasons in the premier class riding Yamaha, Honda, Ducati and Kawasaki machines, with his five MotoGP victories coming during his spell with Gresini.

YES it is, and Iannone is undecided on what tyre to race on as yet. This rule will be even worse next year with the aprillia and Suzuki using it also
I don't think it's a bad thing, that they get to make uncompetitive bikes compete for a while.
Makes it exciting to watch. Bums in seats is the goal in the end.
