My money is on Suzuki not being able to cut it that class, not since the early/mid 90's has that brand been a force to be reckoned with in MotoGP.

What do you deam as " Cutting it maha" Yes WINs will be a little tricky with all the top cpmpetion and riders there currently, but I think they will be capable of a top 5 at least and seriously Potentuall wins in the wet from both the riders, vinales is one of the special breed I think watching him all this year

I fly out this friday to continue testing on this bike, big changes had to be made after preliminary testing. Serious frame flex at the steering head was altering the front end geometry under extreme baking conditions, making cornering at speed an interesting experience.

We are talking Suzuki here, innovation is something they look upon from a distance and can only admire.. (waits for bites)

I would imagine that Suzuki are entering the MotoGP after so long as a competitor rather than just being there because they can? and after such a time between starts in the premier motorcycle competition, if they bring a real competitive bike with the right rider (Espargaró/Luthi should be looking to come through) then maybe.

They say on TV ''Suzuki! own the race track''... I think they mean Ruapuna not Assen.

Was reading somewhere recently (hope it wasn't KB) that the Japanese had a way of drscribing the various racing efforts.

Kawasaki: rich boy racing
Honda: NASA

Which about sums it up. The "rich boy" thing refers to the fact that Kawasaki were a small(ish) cog in a huge industrial corporation.

You could argue that all the Jappas have dropped the ball.But the arse has fallen out of sportbike sales,end of story.
As a staunch Suzuki fan I can only live in hope that the RR is going to be the basis for a rejuvenated GSX-R.

Yep, Kawasaki motorcycles are only a very small entity in the group of companies it is owned by, but still a big company
