Then there's the ECU and loom.
That represents $70k ish on a superbike. I doubt there's a lot on the list that doesn't go into a top chair motor.
I understand the basic go fast goodies, but why the clutch (we haven't put in a single plate or spring in the bus in about 6 seasons, are 1000 ones weaker or not lock up?), also, why the selector barrel and star? I could understand H/D forks, but barrel and star?? What about an increase in fuel pressure??
Is it still beastiality if ya fuck a frozen chicken??

Clutch because the slipper from Yoshi is a comete unit, and adjustable, and really cool. Selector stuff because all that shit is specific to quick shifter.

Fuel pressure is a cheat, bigger injectors and adjustable timing is better.

Wonder what the odds would be given on you or I ever doing that in the future. Sure as fuck I can't think of anyone who'd bet on either of us.

Standard on the shock we run is about 8-9kg, reckon we'll go 11 or 12 to gain the stability I want. But if that kills the pace we can launch at, I'll find a middle ground and get the compression stack stiffened up to all fuck in the middle.
We had one of the top UK guys give our outfit a going over when he was here on holiday a few years back and he reckoned we were pretty well right with what we had, since then both rider and swinger weights have gone down about 20kg per each, launches are the worst bit, wheel spins like a bastard

We used the same clutch in the K4 for 4 seasons and it wasn't new when we got it

Well the guy who told me has had a few #NZ1 plates on his bikes over the years so I think he should know what he's talking about, if I can come up with 10K I'll have the K9 and K10 motors he has sitting in his shed one of which is full of good bits

Didn't you just buy some new leathers because you were too fucking fat to fit your old set?
